The B.R.I.D.G.E. Small Business Accelerator is led by an experienced entrepreneurship and economic development team with a proven track record of supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs and small business growth.

Program leadership previously designed and implemented Houston Community College’s Open for Business entrepreneurship program, which supported more than 1,000 entrepreneurs through comprehensive technical assistance, business training, and capital readiness support. The initiative was funded through a $750,000 Wells Fargo Foundation grant, along with a $168,000 institutional investment, totaling a $918,000 program budget.
The leadership team brings extensive expertise in small business development, capital access, supplier diversity, and workforce economic mobility. The program is further strengthened by leadership experience connected to federal Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) initiatives, providing deep knowledge of funding pathways, business certification processes, and national economic development best practices.
Through this combined experience, BSBA delivers structured, results-driven programming designed to increase business sustainability, strengthen capital readiness, and expand economic opportunities for underserved entrepreneurs.
